Tomatos

These are the tomatoes from the hairloom seeds that my daughter-in-law gave me. The little green ones are ripe and quiet nice to eat. The red ones are very wrinkley and have a very nice flavour.

Willywagtails.

This is the third clutch of babies for the Willy wagtails in Charlies shed this summer.
Three babies hatched and already one has left the nest. These two flew when the flash on the camera went off. The poor little things have endured temperatures as high as 41 degree Celsius. This is the third year that the birds have used this nest; rearing 3 clutches of 3-4 babies each time. They are very clever little builders, I dont know if they will nest again this year; but I do hope they keep returning.

Better Bush Art Photos.

I took some more photos of the Bush Art on my way home on Tuesday. The owners have moved them closer to their boundry so you can get a bit better picture of them.

Whisky's Haircut.

Our two youngest grandsons have been visiting for the holidays. Sam asked if he could have a pair of scissors to give the pony a trim. I told him to ask his Pop and not to cut too much hair off Whiskys mane. I went on doing what I was doing and Sam got the scissors from Pop and went happily off to the horse paddock. He came back with his brother some time later, very pleased with his handy work - the photo says it all.
